I. Product Introduction

  The JGXZ-63 series is a selective power-limiting protector, an intelligent power-limiting device designed to restrict power consumption of individual appliances exceeding the power limit as well as total power exceeding the set limit. It is also a comprehensive protector integrating multiple protection functions, including overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit, leakage, temperature, frequency, and electric energy metering. The product offers the advantages of modular design, intelligence, and visualization, and supports the standard Modbus 485 communication protocol. All protection parameters, such as overvoltage, undervoltage, power limiting, and leakage protection, can be set according to power consumption requirements, ensuring that the protector can instantly cut off the power supply when faults such as overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit, or leakage occur in the circuit, thereby keeping electrical equipment intact and undamaged.

   This series features a compact structure and an attractive appearance, with standard DIN rail mounting. It is mainly suitable for school dormitories, rental housing, and similar applications.

a. Connect 10 appliances each with power less than 0.2kw; at this point, the individual power does not exceed 0.2kw, and the total power does not exceed 2.0kw either, so the protector operates normally. If the individual power of the connected appliances does not exceed the limit but, due to too many connected appliances, the total power exceeds 2.0kw, the protector will disconnect within the specified time, and manual reset is required at this point.

b. When a single appliance with power greater than 0.2kw is connected, the product's red light P flashes, indicating that an over-power appliance has been connected. If the load power supply is not cut off by disconnecting in time within the specified time, the product enters a countdown. When the countdown ends, the product automatically closes. If there are still over-limit appliances after closing, the product automatically disconnects. After the number of over-limit occurrences exceeds 3, the reset button must be pressed manually to close.

c. The power of a single appliance does not exceed the limit, but it exceeds the total power, and the product trips for protection. In this case, the product will not reclose automatically; it must be reclosed manually by pressing reset.

When manual handling by pressing the reset button is required, all appliances exceeding the limit must be removed

III. Working Conditions and Current Protection Parameters

1. Upon first normal power-on, it automatically closes after a 1-second delay; if overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, or leakage occurs at first power-on, the product will automatically disconnect within 1 second;

2. Current protection parameters:

   a. ≥1.0 times current, setting range 1-120 seconds, default 10 seconds

   b. ≥1.1 times short-circuit current, trip in 0.1 seconds

3. The ambient temperature shall not exceed +40°C and shall not be lower than -5°C; the 24-hour average temperature shall not exceed +35°C; at +40°C, the ambient air humidity shall not exceed 50%.

4. The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2,000 meters.

6. The installation environment should be free of explosive hazardous media, free of gases and conductive dust that corrode or damage insulation, and free from rain and snow.
