Key Points: Usage issues of selective power-limiting protectors

Users often call to ask questions about the use of the selective power-limiting protector. The main questions focus on the size of the single power setting parameter. The main issue is that customers set the single power value too low, causing the protector to trip frequently.
Example: In a dormitory, the power of a single appliance is 200W, and the single power setting on the protector is also 200W, which causes the protector to trip frequently. Instead, the single power should be set 10~15% higher than the actual appliance power; setting it at 220W is more reasonable. Another situation is when products of the same power are connected at the same time, the combined power exceeds the single power setting (e.g., a single appliance is 180W, 2 of them make 360W, and the protector is set at 220W), and the protector will identify it as the power of a single appliance. Appliances with power below the single power setting should be connected in sequence, not simultaneously, so that the selective power-limiting protector will not trip.
