The self-resetting over/under Voltage Protector is a voltage protection type protector, currently used in various distribution lines for voltage protection. We have compiled some problems encountered by customers during use and selected some common questions for users' reference, hoping to be of some help.

I. Product terminal damage

1. The torque of the mounting screw is too high. The standard torque for M4 is 2Nm (Newton-meters)
2. During installation, in order to connect more wires, the screw was backed out too far, and when screwed back in, the threads were misaligned and damaged
3. Because multiple stranded wires were connected, the screw was not tightened properly, and during use, damage occurred due to poor contact and excessive current

II. Product not working

1. Power not supplied
2. Incorrect wiring. The product has an incoming line terminal and an outgoing line terminal. The incoming line terminal connects to the power input, and the outgoing line terminal connects to the output
3. The product is exposed to cement water or lime water with corrosive properties, causing damage to the product due to corrosion
4. While the product is powered on, water was sprayed onto the wall for renovation purposes and got into the product, causing damage
5. Quality problem of the product itself

III. The product keeps showing a red light

1. The grid voltage has now been changed to single-phase AC230V and three-phase AC400V. If the electricity consumption in a newly built residential area is low, the output single-phase voltage is generally around AC255V at this time. If the product is powered on at this voltage, it may not close because the grid voltage has already exceeded the product's recovery voltage. The product's recovery voltage is AC255V±5V.
2. Poor contact of the neutral wire in the grid. At this time, the live wire in the grid will establish a virtual voltage through the electrical appliances. When the product closes under the virtual voltage, a actual voltage will be generated due to the connected electrical appliances, but there is no neutral wire return path. At this time, the voltage will quickly drop below the protector voltage and trip.
3. Incorrect input voltage connection or incorrect voltage supply, that is, single-phase voltage directly input at 380V

IV. The green light of the product repeatedly counts down

1. Poor neutral wire contact. The voltage in the grid is at the critical point of the protector's recovery voltage
2. Problem inside the product itself

V. The product shows a green light but has no output, or shows a red light but still has voltage output

1. Internal problem of the product
2. The customer used high-power electrical appliances during renovation, causing a short circuit in the circuit, while the upstream circuit breaker did not trip for protection. After prolonged high current, the protector was burned out (the self-resetting over/under Voltage Protector only has phase loss, overvoltage, and undervoltage protection, and does not have overload and short circuit protection, so the upstream must have a circuit breaker switch with current protection)
